Our Plan for Belize We were at the Cancun airport and I spotted a traveler with a passport that said Belize. Since Belize was on our bucket list, I struck up a conversation with the traveler. I learned that he was from Belize and was traveling to Detroit to attend his son's graduation from Wayne StateUniversity. I also learned that he arrived at the Cancun airport via an ADO bus. He lives in Corozal which is not far from the Mexican border. He said the bus ride is about 5 hours and costs $700 pesos which is about $37 at the current exchange right. We will factor in this information when we plan our trip to Belize.
